Rob Neuner is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in the aviation industry, specializing in global operations, training, and management of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). With over 18 years of industry experience, Rob is recognized for his exceptional leadership, innovative thinking, and steadfast commitment to excellence and safety. He excels at driving positive organizational cultures, fostering collaboration, and delivering outstanding results in dynamic and fast-paced environments, both domestically and internationally.
Prior to joining UROC as the UAS Operations Director, Rob served in the US Navy for 12 years. Throughout his career, he worked on the flight deck, flew as a sensor operator on the P-3 Orion, and was actively involved in instructing and leading young sailors.
He then transitioned to Boeing, where he flew for Special Operations Command (SOCOM). Throughout his professional journey, Rob has been actively involved with several startups, gradually moving into leadership roles. He began with drone delivery at Volansi, then became part of the world's first flight crew for emissions monitoring at Nordic Unmanned across Europe. Most recently, at DroneUp, Rob built and led the Flight Training Department, pioneering the first nationwide last-mile delivery training operation across six states.
Rob is committed to lifelong learning and holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from Liberty University. Currently, he is pursuing a dual Masters Degree, demonstrating a dedication to continued professional growth. In addition, he holds multiple FAA certifications to include being a Certified Flight Instructor in both Single and Multi-Engine Aircraft, a Commercial Pilot with Instrument Rating, and sUAS Remote Pilot. Lastly, Rob holds a UAS Certificate from the CAA of Norway.
Rob, his wife, and their girl/boy twins enjoy spending their time flying, fishing, camping, and visiting Disney.
